The End is the Beginning

The past two weeks have been a blur of rehearsals, late nights and too little sleep. It all culminated on saturday when we (the classical singers) put on our Midwinter Show…and what a show it was! We had decided that this year’s concert should be mostly classical in origin instead of previous years’ musical theatre themed performances, and this was apparently greatly appreciated by the audience. We got to show them what we -actually- do and study, which was really nice and they all seemed to love it!

The show was scenic, but still more of a concert than a theatre performance. I sang “Svegliatevi nel core”, from Julio Ceasare by Georg Friedrich Händel and second dame in “Zu Hilfe! Zu Hilfe!” from The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Some of the people who study TV-production were there and filmed the show, so hopefully I’ll be able to post a few videos of the performances eventually. But until then you’ll have to make do with some pictures!
